| Abstract | We present the 2026 SMILE Project conducted between Koukai Junior High School in Japan and SMP Al Azhar 26 Islamic JH School of Yogyakarta in Indonesia. We held three online collaboration classes on October 16, October 30, and November 6, with 21 students from our school and 27 students from the partner school. In addition to providing a general overview of the project, this presentation focuses on how the students prepared for collaboration, how they enjoyed the activities, their reflections on the project, and the prospects for future English lessons. |
