| Abstract | This presentation reports on the 2025 Japanese SMILE Project involving the University of Indonesia and Thammasat University in Thailand. Three online collaborative Japanese language classes were implemented. As learner confidence and anxiety influence language learning, this study focuses on participants’ perceptions of psychological factors in the project. Participants included 17 students from Thailand and 17 students from Indonesia. Questionnaire surveys were administered before and after the project. This presentation discusses the impact of online international collaboration on learners’ psychological development. |
